It's quite flattering at the waist. It's a touch tight at the waist (I have an already small waist), though I think that adds a level of security, and the zip is a little sticky. The dress holds me in well and I would even say makes the chest area look good too.
I don't think I've worn a dress or top that makes both my chest and waist look good without over-accentuating either, or the small belly I have.
The neckline isn't too low or too high (an issue I've had with similar cuts) and is secure.
I wouldn't say this is a summer dress, but it will definitely be pulled out in spring. It's gorgeous.
